Legal information

Terms and Conditions

Please review these terms before requesting or using transportation services.

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern reservations for transportation services provided by Wasatch Executive Transportation LLC ("Wasatch Executive Transportation," "we," "us," or "our") and use of our website. By requesting a quote, making a reservation, using our website, or using our transportation services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Transportation Services

Wasatch Executive Transportation provides private passenger transportation in luxury executive SUVs in Salt Lake City and other approved destinations in Utah. Service availability depends on vehicle and driver availability, road and weather conditions, and confirmation by our team.

A quote request is not a confirmed reservation. A reservation is confirmed only after we accept the request, receive any required payment or deposit, and send a written confirmation by email or text message. Customers are responsible for reviewing the confirmation and promptly reporting incorrect dates, times, pickup locations, destinations, passenger counts, flight details, or other information.

2. Quotes and Fares

Website quotes are estimates based on the information provided and may change before a reservation is confirmed. The confirmed fare will be shown during checkout or in the reservation confirmation.

Additional charges may apply for requested stops, waiting time, route changes, parking, tolls, airport fees, excessive luggage, special equipment, cleaning, damage, or services outside the original reservation. Gratuity is not included unless expressly stated.

3. Passenger and Luggage Information

Customers must provide an accurate passenger count and disclose the number and approximate size of all bags, skis, snowboards, strollers, wheelchairs, or other large items before travel. Transportation may be refused or changed if passengers or luggage exceed the safe or legal capacity of the reserved vehicle.

Passengers should keep medication, identification, money, electronics, jewelry, and other fragile or valuable items with them. We are not responsible for ordinary wear, pre-existing defects, improperly packed items, or loss or damage not caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care. Any claim regarding luggage must be reported within 24 hours after the service.

4. Payment Authorization

By providing a payment method, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the confirmed fare and any additional amounts permitted under these Terms. Payment card information may be processed by a third-party payment provider and is subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.

You are responsible for providing valid payment information and for any chargeback or collection costs arising from an authorized service. We will not charge fees that were not disclosed or reasonably connected to the reservation.

5. Cancellation, Changes, and Refunds

The following cancellation policy applies unless different terms are displayed and accepted at booking:

  • A booking fee equal to 20% of the total reservation price is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations received more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup are eligible for a refund of the amount paid, less the 20% booking fee.
  • Cancellations received within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup are non-refundable.
  • Reservation changes may be requested at least 24 hours before pickup and are subject to availability and any fare difference.
  • A requested change within 24 hours of pickup may be treated as a cancellation and new reservation.

Refunds, when approved, will be returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and financial institution. Reservations booked and paid through a hotel, travel agency, marketplace, or other business partner are subject to that partner's cancellation and refund terms.

6. Pickup, Waiting Time, and No-Shows

Passengers must be ready at the confirmed pickup location and time. For non-airport pickups, the driver will wait up to 30 minutes while attempting to contact the passenger. After that period, the reservation may be considered a no-show and the full fare will be forfeited.

For airport arrivals, we may monitor the flight number provided with the reservation and adjust pickup coordination for reported delays. Passengers must provide a working mobile number, retrieve their luggage, and respond to the driver's text or call. If we cannot contact the passenger within 60 minutes after the flight's actual arrival, the reservation may be considered a no-show and non-refundable. Additional waiting charges may apply after the complimentary waiting period disclosed in the reservation.

Flight monitoring is a courtesy and does not replace the passenger's responsibility to notify us of flight changes, missed connections, cancellations, or changes to the arrival airport.

7. Stops and Route Changes

Unscheduled stops and material route changes require driver approval and may result in additional charges. Stops cannot be accommodated if they would create a safety concern, violate applicable law, or interfere with a later confirmed reservation.

8. Children and Child Restraints

The customer is responsible for informing us in advance when a child restraint is required and for complying with Utah child passenger safety laws. Child seats may be available only when requested and confirmed before the trip. Unless we expressly agree otherwise, the accompanying adult is responsible for selecting, installing, and properly securing the child restraint. Transportation may be refused when a legally required restraint is unavailable or cannot be safely installed.

9. Passenger Conduct, Smoking, Cleaning, and Damage

Smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, unsafe conduct, harassment, and damage to the vehicle are prohibited. The driver may refuse or discontinue service when a passenger's conduct threatens safety, violates the law, or materially interferes with the service. No refund will be due when service is ended for prohibited conduct.

The customer is responsible for reasonable cleaning or repair costs caused by passengers beyond normal use, including spills, food waste, mud, bodily fluids, smoke, or pet-related cleaning other than ordinary accommodation of a service animal. A cleaning fee of $150 to $500 may be charged based on the work required, and documented repair costs may be charged separately.

Service animals are welcome as required by applicable law. Passengers remain responsible for actual damage or excessive cleaning beyond normal use.

10. Weather, Road Conditions, and Events Beyond Our Control

Utah weather and mountain road conditions can affect travel times. Customers should allow extra time for airport departures and time-sensitive events. We do not guarantee arrival by a particular time when delays result from weather, traffic, road closures, accidents, government action, labor disputes, fuel shortages, public emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may delay, reroute, reschedule, or cancel service when reasonably necessary for safety or because performance is not possible. If we cancel a service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, we will refund the unused amount paid for that service. We are not responsible for indirect costs such as missed flights, lodging, event tickets, or alternative transportation, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Vehicles and Service Providers

We currently provide service using luxury executive SUVs. We may substitute a comparable vehicle or qualified transportation provider when operationally necessary. Any substitute must meet applicable licensing and insurance requirements, but vehicle make, model, color, and amenities are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

12. Safety and Refusal of Service

All passengers must wear available seat belts and follow reasonable safety instructions. We may refuse transportation when the passenger count or luggage exceeds vehicle capacity, a passenger appears likely to endanger the driver or others, road conditions are unsafe, required information is materially inaccurate, or providing the service would violate applicable law.

13. Website Use

Website content is provided for general information and may be updated without notice. You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit false reservation information, or use its content or systems for unlawful purposes.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wasatch Executive Transportation will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or transportation services. Our total liability for a claim relating to a reservation will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service, except where a different limitation is required by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

15. SMS Messaging Terms

Wasatch Executive Transportation may offer SMS messaging related to transportation inquiries, quotes, reservations, payment confirmations, pickup coordination, driver communications, trip updates, customer support, and, where separately authorized, promotional offers.

By providing your mobile number and expressly opting in through an unchecked consent box or another approved opt-in method, you consent to receive SMS messages from Wasatch Executive Transportation at the number provided. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or using our transportation services.

Transactional message frequency varies depending on your inquiries, reservations, and transportation activity. Promotional message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you may receive one final message confirming that your request has been processed. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us using the information provided in Section 18 below.

Opting out of SMS messages does not cancel an existing reservation. When reasonably available, service-related information may instead be provided by email or telephone.

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in records, and SMS consent information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information only as necessary to operate the messaging service on our behalf.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to the effective transmission of messages by your wireless carrier and is outside our complete control.

Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about our data practices.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Utah, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. The version accepted when a reservation is confirmed will govern that reservation unless a change is required by law or agreed to by both parties.
